Kathy Beattie is the Trust & Estates/Tax Paralegal at Beattie & Aghazarian, LLP. With over 25 years experience working in tax law firms in California, Kathy received her Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, from the University of California, San Diego, in Political Science and European History, and her Paralegal certification from the American Bar Association approved program at the University of San Diego. In addition, Kathy passed four national boards in employee benefits and planning from the Wharton School of Business.

While in San Diego, Kathy worked for many years as the Tax Department lead Paralegal at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch, LLP, preparing the complex federal and state estate tax returns, gift tax returns, fiduciary trust accountings, funding schedules, distribution agreements, preparing pleadingsfor administering probate and decedent’s estates, preparing estate plans, and forming corporate and partnership entities. Upon moving to Stockton, Kathy worked in the same areas with her husband Scott Beattie.
